Two Little Tigers, Sitting In A Tree

I just wanted to share some pictures. The boys dressed up in their Mizzou tiger suits today to cheer on the Tiger basketball team. I happened to catch a couple of pictures of them kissing each other. It is so sweet.

Duck, Stuck, Truck

Adrian & Isaac’s 14 Month Birthday 1/12/11

Adrian and Isaac on the wrong chairs, climbing around

Here we are with my girlfriends from growing up and most of our kids. 1/1/11

Adrian & Isaac love their riding toys.

Adrian & Isaac love to climb up on the hearth and run their trucks up and down it. They already make truck noises.

Yesterday was Isaac & Adrian’s 14 Month Birthday! This is such a great age. The boys are constantly learning new things. They both are saying a lot of words. Isaac said, “Duck, stuck and truck” for the first time all this week. He likes the “uck” sound apparently. Adrian’s favorite things to say right now are “Go, go, go” or “No, no, no”. I am just realizing that my boys like rhyming words. Interesting. Adrian has recently said, “truck” also. They both have lots of signs and we use them all day long.

They are climbing all over the furniture, the mantle of the fireplace, up and down the stairs. We started a “feet first” campaign in our house a couple of weeks ago in order to encourage them to get off of the furniture feet first instead of head first. Both boys have recently started biting each other. Wow. That is a difficult thing to stop. They both love to hug and kiss some of their favorite stuffed animals. They love taking baths. They love getting in one of their cribs together and wrestling, bouncing around and kissing each other. We do that a couple of times per day. They are both dare devils. They slide down their little slide all of the time and learned how to do it on their own.

They love being pushed on their riding toys and walking behind their push toys. One afternoon this week they were both pushing their John Deere pedal tractor, side by side. Isaac decided he wanted to ride, so he got in the seat and Adrian pushed him. Now if they could just figure out how to steer, Mom and Papa’s backs could get a break.

Isaac shows his love for Adrian by following him around all day, copying his activities and stealing his toys. Adrian shows his love for Isaac by giggling at him and giving him lots of kisses. They are so much fun. We are lucky.
